Pneumatic butterfly valve is a shunt confluence or flow direction switching device. The valve is mainly composed of a valve body, a valve, a sealing ring, a transmission device and a valve stem. When the valve is rotated in the valve body, the flow or closure of the medium can be realized. The butterfly valve has the characteristics of simple structure, easy operation, good sealing performance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and so on. It is usually used in situations where quick switching and flow regulation are required, such as chemical, petroleum, power, food and other industrial fields. When installing and using pneumatic butterfly valves, the following points need to be noted:
1. Ensure that the valve is installed in the correct position and installed in the specified direction.
2. Before use, the valve needs to be comprehensively inspected to ensure that it is intact.
3. In the process of use, the valve needs to be checked and maintained regularly to ensure its normal operation.
4. When operating the valve, it is necessary to follow the specified operation steps to avoid misoperation or damage to the valve.
Pneumatic butterfly valve is an important fluid control equipment, which has been widely used in the industrial field. In the process of use, it is necessary to pay attention to its installation and use requirements to ensure its normal operation and extend its service life.

This type of valve can be operated remotely by a pneumatic actuator. Electric or pneumatic actuator covert the axial movement of piston to be 90° rotation of valve shaft. So that the valve can be open or close to achieve the requirement of control and open/close for the pipeline system. They have three type of actuator : normally open (NO) , normally closed (NC), air/ air (A/A).
